
Yes. Per Texas Parks and Wildlife, all persons under 17 years of age, whether Texas residents or non-residents, are exempt from license requirements. Anyone 17 years of age or older will need a saltwater fishing license purchased from the TPWD.
A deposit of $250.00 is required at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable unless notification of cancellation/rescheduling is received within 21 days of your trip date. In the event of your cancellation, if we are able to book another trip on your date, we will gladly refund your deposit. If your trip is cancelled due to bad weather (captain’s discretion), we will make every attempt to re-schedule your trip or will refund your deposit.
The balance of the trip payment is due prior to departure. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), Paypal, SquareUp, Venmo, and cash. A 3% processing fee will be added to all credit card payments. Crew gratuity is not included and 15-20% of the trip cost is a customary tip. Fish cleaning is an additional expense at the dock (typically $40-$60 per trip).
Food and drinks, sunscreen, motion sickness medicine, towel, shoes with non-marking soles, sunglasses and/or hat. Coolers are not required, there is a 60 quart cooler on the boat for your food and drinks. You may bring a small soft sided lunch box type cooler if necessary. You will need a large cooler to bring home your fish in.
We will still go out in light rain and other moderate weather conditions. If the weather is severe and we have to cancel (captain’s discretion), we will make every attempt to re-schedule your trip or will refund your deposit. If it’s a rainy day, please dress appropriately.
We suggest guests arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before the boat is scheduled to leave so you can check in and have time to get your things settled on the boat.
Yes, all fishing equipment including rod, reel, bait and tackle are included in the price of your trip!
Feel free to bring your own gear if you want to!
We recommend wearing casual clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty! Be sure to dress appropriate for the day’s weather and consider bringing an additional layer just in case. If there is a chance of rain, it’s a good idea to bring a rain coat or foul weather gear. We recommend shoes with a non-skid grip which are non-marking.
There is a limited amount of space on the boat for your personal belongings. Please keep your personal items to a minimum.
Yes, you can bring alcohol but no glass containers are allowed for safety reasons. We do ask that you drink in moderation.
Yes, smoking is allowed.
